Amazing food,the bathroom was not so great. You have to go outside around the corner of the restaurant.It was like using a gas station restroom. Service was good.

The pastas and mozzarella sticks are great! my only critique is that the carbonara was very oily and I had to add some citrus to cut the fattiness. Other than that, great food!

A bit too dark for me. I'd like to see a little more light in the place. It could also use some updating. Food is good, drinks are good, service is good. Just update the place.

Visited the place with my friends for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food. I’ve had the eggplant and it was delicious. Tiramisu was really good and ordered a second one after I liked the first. The waiter was cool and helpful. I recommend this place for everyone

Just had a quick lunch here and I’m so happy with that decision! The fresh roll “knots” were amazing. The chicken with spinach, artichokes and pine nuts was so flavorful and the fettuccini Alfredo was worth the drive alone and the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend!

Excellent choices and all were delish. We had the chicken Tetrazzini, the Baked Ziti and the Chicken Piccata.

I've been to this place on several occasions. The food is good in my opinion. The decor is nice, but feels cramped. Also, its hard to call in orders ahead of time because no one answers the phone. So you have to go in person and make an order for carry out.

Were told to expect a 30 minute wait for a table for 6. Waited 90 minutes, watched at least a dozen other small and large (20+) parties seated before us. Apparently, reservations are required to be seated. It's clearly a popular place, but I can't tell you anything about the food except for the smell. Parking is really difficult to achieve, as well. Many people watching from the Chipotle parking lot, waiting for a spot so they can zoom in. They should probably raise their prices to reduce the massive wait a bit.

Great food. Very Authentic. Service was friendly and prompt. Nice old quaint atmosphere.

Casual place w big menu. Parking is tough. The BYOB is a nice aspect. The pasta is okay and fairly priced...and the house dressing w the side salad is a tasty vinaigrette. I had the veal Marsala and it was yummy but I wish it had been prepared w more shrooms. The rolls were hot and fresh as mentioned by others. Service was friendly. All n all a nice, simple joint.

So pleased to have stopped by this place. Interior is cozy and welcoming and the food is served quickly and is delicious. If customers would like to enjoy wine or another meal complementing beverage with their dinner, this small restaurant is byob. Also noteworthy, the restrooms are outside of dining area, so no worries about getting seated too close.

A great find. Good sized portions. It's tucked away and I would never have seen it if it hadn't come up on a search of Italian restaurants.

Small cozy and wonderful place to celebrate family gatherings. Staff always friendly and making sure your party is taken care of. Food was wonderful, full of flavor and great portions.

No flavor. Just legit put some garlic powder in your sauce. Also, baked ziti should have some meat.

It was wonderful..my wife's grandmother is Italian and she said the marinara sauce was just like hers....that is indeed a compliment..the chicken portofino was the best ! Well done.

IG has the best pizza and pasta around. The atmosphere is intimate and the prices are phenomenal!

When you’re at the Pearly Gates, the first thing you will see is Italian Garden. Honestly Texas State could use this place as a selling point. I come here every chance I get, and I live in San Antonio now. I’ve always had an amazing experience at Italian Garden.

Italian food for a good price, but nothing special. Sauce has been too sweet the last 2 times I've eaten here. Lasagna is runny, meatballs bland, chicken parmesan is dry, and you get the point...

As of today (24JUL2020) dine in is an option, highly recommended to call before showing up. Food is superb and pretty quick service. Our waitress was pretty attentive. I would definitely come back any time soon. Just go...!

Really really fast service. Got my food ordered within 2 minutes of walking in! Besides that, food was also very good. Classic Italian eating. Would highly recommend!

BYOB! Great little Italian place next to campus....Sinatra playing in the background...good menu, great service, takes you back to your college days! Gluten free pizza is awesome! Traditional meals very GOOD! Fresh rolls and calamari are a great start....large portion and college budget friendly. don't forget to pick up a bottle wine b4 you get there.

Found out about this place from a local. Great advice....they start you with wonderful rolls and dipping oil. Then we ordered small salads...one italian, one spinach...both were great. My aunt ordered the chicken primavera from the light menu which was delicious. I ordered a personal pizza (10") 1/2 supreme, 1/2 margherita...both really good. Prices phenomenal and menu choices extensive. Definitely recommend!!

The veal park was excellent. My wife had the shrimp and it was cooked perfectly. The same can be said of the calamari. It was juicy, tender and not over cooked. I would definitely eat here again

The food was GREAT. Nice n cozy. Presentation has been much better but the taste of authentic Italian food is unmistakable. A MUST try! Presentation was the only reason for not a 5 star.

Excellent food and service. One of the best Italian food I have ever had. The prices are extremely reasonable; 3 adult one child entree, 2 drinks, one dessert with tip around $55! All this with homemade rolls! We will be back and would highly reccomend.

The pizza is always so good, they bring bread as an appetizer and is really good, also the tiramisu cake 👌

We travel from Austin and never disappointed

The building doesn't look like much from the outside, but the ambiance inside is quiet and romantic! For starters I had the caesar salad and it was so good I ended up going back the next day and ordered a large for lunch. The alfredo sauce is so good, but you may want to go in early so they don't run out. My husband has the lasagna and he was thoroughly impressed. HIGHLY recommend this place!!!!

Pros: Good atmosphere. Food was good. Cons: Very limited parking. Service was slow but our waitress was pleasant.

I love this place! Although I live in Detroit, Michigan I've eaten here several times. It's one of my sister's favorite restaurants and so we usually go when I'm visiting. The staff is courteous, the service is prompt, and most importantly..... the food is fresh, hot, delicious, and plentiful! Excellent!
